Cheryl has clinical experience working in the WIC Program for more than 24 years. She has counseled numerous families promoting healthy eating habits and the importance of family meals. She enjoys translating current nutrition knowledge into practical, easy to read nutrition education materials. She believes families want to receive helpful hints, ideas and recipes to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Cheryl has received her B.S. in Dietetics and M.S. in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Cheryl is a Registered Dietitian (RD) with the American Dietetic Association and Wisconsin Certified Dietitian (CD). She is also a Certified Lactation Educator (CLE).

Cheryl has developed, implemented and evaluated several nutrition education projects involving the Head Start Program, WIC Program, Cooperative Extension - Family Living Program and other community agencies. Many of these projects provided nutrition education for families with young children. Cheryl is also the mother of 2 children.
